What would make you ask someone to help with writing?

I enjoy writing, but sometimes I spend hours trying to finish one page. A few people I know suggested hire a website content writer when projects become too big, and it made me think. I still hope to learn more before getting help. How do you decide if you should keep writing by yourself or let someone else help with the difficult parts?
